luncheon

This event has been postponed.
New Date: June 3, 2024.

Due to the recent COVID surge, we are postponing the AGA Scholarship luncheon to combine it with the Children’s Fund Golf Classic Banquet. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support. We hope you can join us for the Children’s Fund Golf Classic on June 3rd to celebrate the amazing gift from the A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation to establish an endowed scholarship to help vulnerable youth pursue post-secondary education.

Information about the Golf Classic can be found on our website:
childrensfund.org/golf.

If you have any questions regarding the luncheon or the Golf Classic, please contact Jane Nottingham at Jane@childrensfund.org and she will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

A. Gary Anderson

Mr. A. Gary Anderson, a 24-year veteran of the mortgage banking and real estate industries, was chairman and chief executive officer of Directors Mortgage. He was chairman of Children’s Fund and was a founding member of the Inland Empire Economic Council. After his passing in 1992, the A. Gary Anderson Memorial Golf Classic was established to continue his work supporting vulnerable and abused children through the Children’s Fund.

The A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship

The A. Gary Anderson Family Endowed Scholarship was established by Erin Anderson and the Foundation to continue the legacy of A. Gary Anderson by providing financial assistance to youth from San Bernardino County who have experienced homelessness, poverty, abuse and/or neglect. These scholarships will supplement the current post-secondary educational scholarships offered by Children’s Fund for youth who have been in the foster care system, have experienced homelessness, or who have indigenous heritage. The first A. Gary Anderson Family Endowed Scholarships will be awarded on June 3, 2024, at the Children’s Fund Golf Classic, formerly the A. Gary Anderson Golf Classic.
