Auxiliaries

Auxiliaries are nonprofit groups whose purpose is to raise funds, promote community awareness and carry out projects in support of children at risk.

Children’s Fund is proud to be supported by two dedicated auxiliaries, Bonnes Meres of Redlands and the  West End Auxiliary. Each Auxiliary has a number of events and their membership aids Children's Fund by providing funds, promoting community awareness of children's issues, and assisting with volunteer support.

The auxiliaries are governed by bylaws and have an executive board consisting of their officers and committees. One member from each auxiliary holds a seat on Children's Fund Board of Directors.

​West End Auxiliary


West End Auxiliary was originally founded in 1958 and supported the Children’s Home Society. Today, the West End Auxiliary raises funds for Children’s Fund and promotes community awareness with activities like their Home Tour and Membership Teas.


West End Auxiliary Home Tour is held every April.  This fundraising event also gives attendees the opportunity to view the beautiful lovely homes selected for the annual home tour featuring recent renovations, art, history, beautiful gardens and spectacular views. Raffle opportunities and complimentary refreshments are available during the tour.
 

Day at the Races - Enjoy a day at the races while supporting children at-risk in our community. Experience the thrilling excitement!

 

West End Auxiliary Membership Tea is held each January, fundraising for Children’s Fund and is the tea of all teas!  Please contact Lou Ehresman for information on becoming a sponsor or for tickets to the tea.  Her email is LuEhres@aol.com or you can contact her at 909.624.4471.

 

Bonnes Meres Auxiliary of Redlands

 

Bonnes Meres Auxiliary has been an auxiliary of Children’s Fund since 1993 and has been in existence since 1958, originally supporting Children’s Home Society. Today, Bonnes Meres continues to raise funds, promote community awareness and carry out projects in support of children at risk through their two major events: the Bonnes Meres Holiday Auction held in November and the Bonnes Meres Birthday Luncheon held in April.


Bonnes Meres Holiday Auction – Held every November, this auction raises funds for Children’s Fund with a silent auction as well as live auction items, and is a great event to kick off the holiday spirit of giving.
 

Bonnes Meres Birthday Luncheon is held every April, and raises funds for birthday gifts for the children who otherwise may not even get their birthday noticed.  The goal is for each child to feel special on their birthday.  For more information, see their webste: www.bonnesmeres.org
