Why do you support Children’s Fund?

Children’s Fund provides vulnerable children facing poverty, abuse, neglect, foster care, homelessness, and other serious challenges with Support, Opportunity, and Hope at a pivotal time in their lives. Without the resources made available through Children’s Fund, and its partners, unmet needs can increase the likelihood of repeating the vicious generational cycle of neglect and instability that likely led to their current crisis. The organization also works proactively through child abuse prevention and family stabilization efforts focusing on strengthening the family unit and creating healthier home environments. This leads to better outcomes than a child entering or remaining in the foster care system.

What makes Children’s Fund stand out in the community?

This year marks the 40th anniversary of serving San Bernardino County, providing a profound impact on the lives of children and families. Immediate, practical, and deeply compassionate are not just words — they are embedded in how the Children’s Fund operates. What has personally moved me are the many inspirational stories of young people who, after receiving help during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, have gone on to thrive in the community. In many cases, they have become part of the solution themselves supporting Children’s Fund and their partners efforts. Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient future for every child in our community.
