Running 26.2 Miles to Celebrate 40 Years of Changing Lives
Join me in raising funds for Children's Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to providing Support, Opportunity, and Hope to our community's most vulnerable children and families.
This October, I will be running the Long Beach Marathon—26.2 miles with a purpose beyond the finish line. Each mile is dedicated to Children's Fund, which is celebrating 40 years of serving children and families by providing support, opportunity, and hope to children and families facing abuse, neglect, trauma, and hardship.
This cause is deeply personal to me. As a former foster youth, I experienced life in three different foster homes across Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. I know firsthand how one person, one opportunity, and one act of kindness can change the course of a child's life. Many people believed in me, invested in me, and gave me hope for a brighter future, and today I have the opportunity to give that same hope back to others.
Training for a 26.2-mile marathon requires commitment, perseverance, and resilience, but it is nothing compared to the challenges many children overcome every day. Every step I take honors their strength and supports the opportunities they deserve.
I’m asking for your support. Please consider making a donation to Children's Fund as I take on this marathon challenge. Every gift—no matter the size—helps provide children with the resources, opportunities, and hope they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
Together, we can celebrate 40 years of impact and help create the next 40 years of hope.
Every mile matters.
Every donation makes a difference.
Every act of generosity can change a child’s future.
Thank you for supporting my marathon journey and standing with children who need us most.
